OUR CLUB

COMMUNITY-DRIVEN - COMPETITIVE - INCLUSIVE - FAMILY-ORIENTATED - SOCIAL

Celebrating its 75th year, the Grovedale Cricket Club has been providing fun, supportive, and competitive sporting opportunities to Geelong families and locals. The club is currently made up of over 250 dedicated members.

Supporting mens, womens, junior boys, and girls competitions for a range of abilities, we embrace all individuals looking to grab a bat or ball. We particularly foster the development of our younger members through guidance and mentoring in life, business, and sporting activities. Additionally, the club holds a strong value in maximising opportunities for our junior players who aspire to succeed in high-level initiatives.

    OFF-FIELD MEMBERSHIPS

    ‘Tiger Den’ includes complimentary beer and soft drink every Saturday between 4pm - 6pm. ‘Toothless Tiger’ is specifically for past players and officials, this membership includes identifying caps for the first year.

    Grovedale Master Blasters

    The 8 week session will commence Friday 1st November 2024, will break for Christmas on Friday 29th November and resume for the final 3 sessions on Friday 7th February 2025.

     Registrations will open Friday 13th September and close Friday 11th October.

MERCHANDISE

Both off-field and on-field Grovedale Cricket Club merchandise is available to purchase for players and supporters. All players are required to purchase on-field shirts and players in the Firsts XI will be required to also purchase on-field pants. Mens, women, and juniors clothing is available.

If you would like to try on any merchandise to ensure correct sizing is ordered, please contact secretary@grovedalecricket.com.au to organise a time.

 
 

On-field merch can only be purchased through direct club contact via email.

Round 6 Teams We take on @hightonheat in the final game before the break. 1sts and 4ths @ Burdoo Saturday. 3rds are away as well. 2nds play @ Burdoo on the Sunday. 🐯🐯
Round 5 Teams Men take on Newtown with the 1sts/3rds playing at home Saturday afternoon. 2nds/4ths playing at Newtown. Women play @ Geelong West on Sunday afternoon.
Round 4 Teams 🐯🐯 Men v North Geelong, 2nds/4ths @ Burdoo Women v East Belmont @ Burdoo Sunday 1pm
Round 3 The Mens teams take on St Josephs, with our 1sts/3rds at Home. Our Women travel to Lethbridge on Sunday.
Round 2 Teams. The Men take on Bell Post Hill, 1sts/3rds @ Home, and on Sunday the Women travel to Geelong City.
